Hello from the Dragonslare,
We live in Wonder Lake, Illinois, which is located in the Northeast part of the state, Chicago is about 1 ½ hours south, Milwaukee is 1 hour north, and Rockford being about 1 hour west, we rely on selling on Dragons at area, reptile and pet shows.
Working with reptiles for over 35 years, starting with local snakes caught around our area, expanded to buying snakes that were not native to N. Illinois, most interest was with the Rat Snake family.
Our first Experience with Dragons was when we picked up a 4 mo. Beardie, Unfortunately we lost that Dragon when he ate one! Firefly (lightning bug), within hours he was dead, be warned, they are FATAL!!
We then went to a reptile show in the area, and purchased two very young Dragons, and had a good idea that they where, male, female.
The male which was 3 1/2", the female was 4 1/2", bought from two separate dealers, on July 15, 07,
They were kept together, from day one, and where separated for only a brief period of time, Buddies for life.
Now where also working with various Gecko's,I've taken a couple of Leopard Gecko's (females) in trade for my Bearded Dragon hatchlings and now have boughten two males, we now have three Crested Gecko's.
We are still searcing for a Male Frilled Dragon !!! our female is now 13 in. long.
